Orthodontics
Orthodontics is a way of correcting crooked teeth, a jaw misalignment or an incorrect bite, and achieving a beautiful and healthy smile.
Whether itʼs traditional braces, splints, night braces or almost invisible aligners, we ensure a longlasting, functional and aesthetically pleasing result for both young and older teeth

Traditional braces
Braces with brackets or plates, as they are commonly known, are a tried-and-tested solution for straight teeth and a healthy bite. This treatment is mainly used for children to ensure the proper development of their teeth and to prepare them for a set of straight, adult teeth that are easy to clean.
Why is this important for you?
- Improved bite and oral health
- Easier to keep your teeth clean
- Reduced risk of cavities and gum problems
- Effective and reliable
- Suitable for all ages

Retainers
Teeth can shift again after orthodontic treatment. A retainer fitted to the back of the teeth helps to stabilise the position achieved.
Why is this important for you?
- Maintaining the position of your teeth after braces
- Reducing the likelihood of needing further orthodontic treatment
- Invisible, comfortable and effective
- Long-term protection of your beautiful smile

Night guard – teethgrinding splint (removable retainer)
On the one hand, a night guard serves the same purpose as a splint. The difference is that it is removable. On the other hand, a night guard can protect the teeth from wear caused by unconscious teeth grinding or clenching of the jaws, often during sleep (bruxism). This can cause sensitive or painful teeth, tooth wear or damage to fillings and teeth, stiff or
painful jaw muscles and jaw pain, headaches and earache; unfortunately, the splint does not always eliminate the cause of the grinding. Additional advice
or treatment may sometimes be helpful in this regard.
Why is a night guard important for you?
- Protects teeth and fillings from wear and tear.
- Reduces damage caused by grinding and clenching.
- Can help reduce tension in the jaw muscles.
- Can help alleviate symptoms such as jaw pain or tired jaws.
- Is custom-made for a comfortable fit

Aligner (a virtually invisible set of braces)
Aligners are custom-made braces that gradually move your teeth into the desired position. The difference compared to traditional braces is that they are removable and transparent.
Why is this important for you?
- Suitable for both young and slightly older teeth
- Virtually invisible whilst wearing them.
- Can be removed whilst eating and brushing your teeth.
- Comfortable, with no metal wires or brackets.
- Easy to keep clean.
- Offers an aesthetic solution for a straight smile
